Dangote Set To Create 30,000 Jobs For Nigerians


Africa’s richest man and the Chairman of the Dangote Conglomerate Alhaji Aliko Dangote is set to construct a $700 million sugar plantation and refinery in Tunga in Awe Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

Dangote made this known last weekend when he paid a coutesy visit on the Nasarawa State Governor Alhaji Tanko Al-Makura. Alhaji Dangote stated that the refinery is set to generate about 30, 000 job opportunities. He further stated that the sugar plantation which is scheduled to be constructed on a 60 hectares of land will also be used to generate 96 megawatts of power for Nasarawa State.

Aliko Dangote is currently the wealthiest man in Africa and the 105th richest man in the world with net worth of $12.2 billion.
