Calidad Human Health and Development Initiative revealed in Kano recently that 2400 children and 145 women die everyday in Nigeria due to malnutrition.

According to Leadership, the President of Calidad A. Ibrahim said that 2400 children below five years and 145 women die daily of malnutrition and that the total number annually becomes very scary.

He said against the backdrop of the fatalities recorded, parents must be taught how to prepare fortified food to reach their children nutrition’s requirements and reminded them on the significance of exclusive breastfeeding as it gives enough nutritional value to children.
